Trent Woolman hospitalized after falling into bonfire

Trent Woolman, a former contestant on Season 5 of ‘Love Island Australia’, is hospitalized following a severe accident where he fell into a bonfire. Woolman sustained third-degree burns to his arms, mouth, and airways.

After the fall, Woolman managed to escape the flames and crawled back to his sister’s house to seek help. He was airlifted to the trauma unit at The Alfred hospital in Melbourne. While he was initially scheduled for immediate skin graft surgeries, medical staff had to delay the procedures to treat a brain bleed and a cyst discovered upon his arrival at the hospital.

Woolman has been hospitalized for over two weeks and expects to remain under medical care for several more weeks. He described the experience as the ‘worst time of my life’ and noted the situation has been highly traumatic.
