Trentino-Alto Adige tourism features wine routes and Christmas markets

The Trentino-Alto Adige region offers diverse seasonal tourism experiences, ranging from enotourism on the South Tyrol Wine Road to traditional Christmas markets.

The South Tyrol Wine Road provides year-round activities, particularly from April to October. Visitors can participate in 'VinoSafari', a dedicated day for exploring wineries, vineyards, and local gastronomy. Specialized itineraries like 'Vino&Bici' are available for cyclists, and a dedicated mobile app provides guidance on wine-architectural highlights and tasting events.

During the winter season, the region is known for its Christmas markets. In Alto Adige, 'Christkindlmärkte' feature Tyrolean traditions, crafts, and mulled wine in locations such as Bolzano, Merano, Bressanone, Vipiteno, and Brunico. Trentino offers its own festive atmosphere in cities like Trento, Rovereto, and Arco, blending mountain traditions with local culinary offerings.
