Trentino associations petition to block international Naziskin rally

A network of civic associations in Trentino is formally petitioning authorities to block an international 'Naziskin' rally scheduled to take place in Pietramurata from September 3 to 6. A delegation of signatories is set to deliver the appeal to Isabella Fusiello, the Government Commissioner for the Province of Trento.

The organizers of the protest argue that the event, titled ‘Return to Camelot’ and organized by the far-right group Veneto Fronte Skinheaded, promotes Nazi, fascist, racist, and xenophobic ideologies. They contend these values directly contradict the Italian Constitution and the special autonomy of the Trento province, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary during the same period.

In addition to legal arguments regarding compliance with current regulations, the associations have raised concerns about potential risks to public order. If the event is authorized, the groups have announced plans to hold a peaceful protest in Pietramurata on Thursday, September 3.
