Trentino uses art and culture to drive forest reforestation

Projects like WOWnature, established in 2018, combine scientific expertise from the University of Padua's spin-off Etifor with art and culture to fund and engage communities in environmental recovery. This model uses exhibitions and art parks to create a sustainable support network for reforestation, moving beyond traditional public funding.

Additionally, the Arte Sella association in Val di Sella has long utilized land art made from natural materials to connect people with the landscape, serving as a model for integrating artistic expression with ecological restoration.
