Trentino viticulture highlights high-altitude wine production

The Trentino region is highlighting its specialized viticulture through high-altitude production and enotourism. In the Brusafer area near the Marzola massif, the Cavit estate produces Pinot Nero, a variety that thrives in the region's cool, ventilated hillsides which offer climatic similarities to Burgundy.

In the Brentonico area within the Monte Baldo Park, the Oniwines winery has launched ERT1050. This project focuses on producing Trentodoc Metodo Classico at an altitude of 1,050 meters. The winery offers guided tours and tastings designed to showcase the mountain landscape and local flavors, emphasizing environmental respect and high-altitude viticulture.
