Trento allocates 2.7 million euros to Trento Live Festival

In Trento, Democratic Party councillor Lucia Maestri has filed an inquiry regarding the public funding of the Trento Live Festival. The province has committed 2.7 million euros, plus VAT, to secure the festival for the 2026–2028 period. This represents an annual expenditure of 900,000 euros.

Maestri criticized the financial arrangement, describing the venue as a “bottomless pit” and questioning the complex administrative structure involving Trentino Sviluppo S.p.A., Trentino Marketing S.p.A., and the Autonomous Province of Trento. The funds are designated for the private agency Friends & Partners, with costs reportedly increasing by approximately 30% compared to the 2025 pilot edition.
