Trento police arrest two men after hashish disposal attempt

Police in Trento arrested two foreign nationals, aged 22 and 25, following a pursuit during a routine patrol. While attempting to evade officers, the individuals threw several packages into the Fersina stream in an effort to dispose of illegal substances.

Officers successfully recovered the items from the water, discovering approximately half a kilogram of hashish divided into small blocks. In addition to the drugs, authorities seized 120 euros in cash and two mobile phones. Both suspects have been taken to the Trento prison and face charges related to drug possession for the purpose of dealing.
