Trento Province selects 24 Argentine trainees for tourism jobs under 'Ready to Work' program

The Autonomous Province of Trento has launched the second edition of its “Ready to Work in Trentino” initiative, aimed at integrating young Argentines into the region’s tourism‑hospitality sector. The opening ceremony took place in Bahía Blanca, attended by Italian Consul Nicola Bazzani, Trento’s consultant for Argentina Francisco Nardelli, and provincial deputy for economic development Achille Spinelli, who noted the strong international appeal of Trentino.

More than 250 candidates applied for the 24 available spots. Selected participants began a 218‑hour specialist training programme covering civic‑linguistic education, professional hospitality skills and workplace safety. The training runs through November 2026, after which the trainees are scheduled to travel to Trentino in December 2026 to start work in local hotels as the winter season begins.
