Trenton mass shooting victims identified

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office has identified the two victims killed in a mass shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Trenton, New Jersey. The deceased have been identified as 42-year-old Anthony Howlett and 33-year-old Tyasiah West.

Eight adults were wounded during the incident. Four individuals remain hospitalized at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, including three men in critical condition and one woman in stable condition. Authorities have not yet made any arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

Local community leaders expressed concern regarding the traumatic impact of the violence on Trenton residents. Mayor Reed Gusciora stated that officials are working to connect residents with resources to prevent retaliation or further violence in the neighborhood.
