Trepča jug orders users to vacate Zvečan garages
The enterprise Trepča jug, managed by temporary institutions in Pristina, has issued new demands for the “liberation of property” in the center of Zvečan. Notices posted on several facilities state that users lack formal usage contracts with the company and have been ordered to vacate the premises within 10 days.
This follows a previous demand on August 12, where the company requested the vacation of at least three commercial premises in Zvečan. The situation follows recent actions by authorities at Gazivode Lake, where at least 17 structures owned by Serbs were demolished. The company Ibar Lepenac had claimed those structures were built on its land, though reports indicate the demolitions occurred without court decisions despite ongoing legal proceedings by the owners.
