Tres Arroyos Mayor criticizes opposition over police housing project

Pablo Garate, the mayor of Tres Arroyos, has criticized opposition council members for failing to support a project to build 10 homes for local police officers. The mayor stated that the opposition is obstructing an initiative intended to improve housing conditions for law enforcement agents.

The project, which has been in development for over a year in coordination with the Police Retirement, Pension, and Annuity Fund of the Province of Buenos Aires, secured 680 million pesos in financing. Under the agreement, the municipality will provide the land while the Police Fund handles the financing for the construction.
