Multiple regions report fires in Argentina, Spain, and Colombia
Multiple fire incidents have been reported across different regions. In Pocito, Argentina, extreme Zonda winds triggered fires that destroyed homes and killed nearly 100 animals. Animal protection groups, led by Luciano Castro, are urgently seeking medical supplies and volunteers to treat 26 surviving animals with burns and injuries.
In Tres Cantos, Spain, a significant residential fire in the Descubridores sector resulted in eight people being treated for smoke inhalation, three of whom were hospitalized. The fire, which broke out in a fifth-floor apartment, caused extensive damage to the property.
In Colombia, a transformer failure in the Alcázar neighborhood caused a fire near several homes, leading to temporary evacuations and power outages. Emergency services successfully contained the flames to prevent further spread to residential structures.
