Tres de Febrero proposes height limits for Ciudad Jardín

The Municipality of Tres de Febrero has submitted a proposal to the Deliberative Council to revise the Urban Code in Ciudad Jardín. The plan aims to preserve the neighborhood's historical and architectural identity by establishing a maximum height limit of 12 meters (approximately three floors) in the C3 zone. This specific zone, designated for multi-family housing, accounts for only 6% of the neighborhood's total area.

Mayor Rodrigo Aybar addressed concerns regarding potential mass real estate development, stating, “It is false what has been published that all of Ciudad Jardín is going to be filled with buildings. That cannot happen today and it never could.” He noted that 94% of the locality, classified as UFI 1, remains under a 9.5-meter limit for single-family homes.

In addition to the urban code revision, the municipality announced infrastructure improvements for the area, including sidewalk renovations, new lighting on Wernicke street, and the creation of a new aerobic corridor on Matienzo street.
