TRES Finance launches Claude AI plugin for digital asset accounting

TRES Finance, a digital asset treasury management platform, has launched a dedicated plugin for Anthropic’s Claude AI directory. The integration, utilizing Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), allows institutional users to connect their TRES accounts to Claude to perform financial tasks through natural language queries.

Key functionalities of the plugin include querying digital asset balances, reviewing transaction histories, managing cost basis calculations, and generating reconciliation reports. This integration aims to replace manual data processes, such as downloading wallet data into spreadsheets, with a conversational interface for blockchain accounting and ledger management.

For security, the connection uses OAuth-based login via a browser, removing the need for manual API token copying. Per Anthropic’s MCP directory policies, the plugin is restricted to inquiry, analysis, and accounting support; it is not permitted to transfer cryptocurrency or execute financial transactions.

TRES Finance was acquired by Fireblocks in January 2026 to integrate its financial intelligence and compliance tools into Fireblocks’ broader institutional infrastructure.
