Treuchtlingen offers free Altmühltherme access for volunteers

The city of Treuchtlingen, the Altmühltherme, and the Freiwilligenagentur Altmühlfranken have launched an initiative to honor volunteers. Throughout September, holders of the Bavarian Volunteer Card (Bayerische Ehrenamtskarte) are invited to visit the Altmühltherme for free every Monday starting at 17:00 for a two-hour period.

In addition to the free entry, the Freiwilligenagentur is raffling three sets of two-day tickets for the thermal and family baths. The initiative is part of a broader effort in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, where approximately 130 businesses offer various discounts and benefits to volunteers. For example, OBI hardware stores in Weißenburg and Gunzenhausen are providing a 10% discount during the week of civic engagement from September 11 to 20.
