Trevelin Volunteer Fire Department acquires new forest attack truck
The Trevelin Volunteer Fire Department in Argentina has added a new 4x4 forest attack unit to its fleet. The Renault Camiva truck was imported from Portugal and features a 4,000-liter water capacity, specifically designed to navigate complex terrain and forest interfaces.
The acquisition cost 80 million pesos and was funded through a community solidarity campaign involving local residents and contributors from other provinces. The department chose an international purchase to optimize costs and technical specifications for the region's specific needs.
