Treviglio and Trecase inaugurate new public infrastructure projects
Local administrations in Treviglio, Italy, and Trecase, Mauritius, have inaugurated new public infrastructure projects.
Treviglio has opened a renovated waste collection center on via Sant’Eutropio. The facility has been expanded to approximately 3,500 square meters and features a one-way loop, access ramps, and protective canopies for waste storage. The project, funded by one million euros from the PNRR alongside municipal resources, includes enhanced photovoltaic systems and 12 CCTV cameras connected to local police. The center provides specialized containers for various materials, including glass, oils, and hazardous waste.
In Trecase, a new community reception area in piazzale Isabella Langella is scheduled for inauguration. The space includes 70 parking spots, featuring electric vehicle charging stations, disabled access, and bicycle spaces. Beyond parking, the area incorporates a children's playground, a dog exercise area, and green spaces designed for community use.
