Treviso names new provincial police commander, adds two state commissioners

Flavio Ferretton will assume the role of commander of the Provincial Police of Treviso on 1 July 2026, ending a career that began in 1985 at the provincial administration and in 1987 as a provincial police agent. The appointment was praised by Province President Marco Donadel, who highlighted Ferretton’s four‑decade experience in wildlife protection and anti‑poaching operations.

The Treviso Questura also welcomed two new State Police commissioners, Simone La Rosa and Elisabetta Vendramin, after they completed the 114th training course for police commissioners. La Rosa, originally from Catania, holds a law degree and two postgraduate masters, while Vendramin, a Treviso native, also holds a law degree and extensive prosecutorial experience.
