Treviso school student jumps from window amid bullying allegations

A 13-year-old middle school student in the Treviso area attempted suicide by jumping from a first-floor window during a school break. The student reportedly asked to use the restroom before accessing a security door and falling approximately four meters.

Medical personnel stabilized the boy at the scene before transferring him to the emergency room. He sustained fractures, and doctors are currently monitoring him for potential neurological damage and the risk of paralysis.

Authorities and school officials are investigating allegations of bullying, as classmates reported the student was being teased for his manner of speaking. Marks were also reportedly found on the student's arms. In response, school administration has announced new security measures, including restrictions on students entering school buildings to use restrooms during breaks to increase supervision.
