Treviso Urban Trail reaches record 1,020 participants
The fifth edition of the Treviso Urban Trail has reached a record number of participants, with 1,020 athletes registered. Due to the high demand, which represents a 30% increase from the previous year, organizers closed registrations a day early after all bibs were exhausted.
The night race is scheduled for Friday, September 25, starting at 21:00 near Bastione San Marco. The course winds through the historic center of Treviso, traversing streets, squares, bridges, and cobblestones, including Piazza dei Signori and views of the Sile river. Participants are required to carry personal lighting.
The event features two distances: a 10 km route with both competitive and recreational sections, and a 5 km recreational route. In addition to the competition, the event includes a moment of silence for the late runner Valentino Spigariol and a fundraising initiative for his family. The Lilt organization will also be present to provide cancer prevention information.
