Trevor Noah makes surprise appearance at Munich Oktoberfest

Comedian Trevor Noah made a surprise appearance at the Munich Oktoberfest on September 29, 2026. After arriving from Johannesburg earlier that day, Noah visited the Schottenhamel tent around 8:17 PM, where he spent approximately two hours among the festival guests.

Noah notably declined to wear traditional Bavarian attire. During a discussion with Joko Winterscheidt at the Bits & Pretzels entrepreneur conference in Munich, Noah explained his decision to forgo lederhosen. He joked that while he was offered both beer and traditional clothing, he decided against the leather trousers because he found them too uncomfortable to wear while drinking.
