Trey Hendrickson ruled out for Ravens following finger surgery

Baltimore Ravens edge rusher Trey Hendrickson has been ruled out for the team’s Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans following finger surgery. Hendrickson, who signed a four-year, $112 million contract with the Ravens, underwent the procedure to repair a broken finger that had been sustained during a Week 1 victory against Indianapolis.

Head coach Jesse Minter described the absence as “very, very short term,” suggesting Hendrickson may be able to return as early as Week 5 against Atlanta. While Hendrickson has recorded one sack so far this season, he remains a significant defensive presence, currently ranking sixth in the NFL in both hurries and pressure rate.

In his absence, the Ravens may rely more heavily on Mike Green, a 2025 second-round pick, to bolster the pass rush.
