Trey Songz arrives in Tanzania for Imbeju Sauti Moja concert

American R&B singer Trey Songz has arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for his first visit to the country. He was welcomed at Julius Nyerere International Airport by Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz.

Songz is scheduled to headline the CRDB Imbeju Sauti Moja concert on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Posta Kijitonyama Grounds. The event is organized by CRDB Bank and serves as part of the activities surrounding the seventh edition of the CRDB Bank International Marathon. The concert lineup includes several international and local artists, such as BNXN from Nigeria, Kabza De Small from South Africa, and Tanzanian performers Mbosso and G Nako.

In addition to the performance, Songz and Diamond Platnumz have reportedly spent time in the studio working on potential musical collaborations. The concert organizers have utilized a specialized table package system for access rather than traditional individual gate tickets.
