Treze football club eyes Serie D comeback as U‑20 side wins state championship
Treze will host CRAC in the second leg of the Serie D third‑stage tie on 12 July at Estádio Amigão in Campina Grande. After a 2‑1 loss in the first match, Treze must win to overturn the aggregate deficit and reach the round of 16. The club announced a probable lineup featuring Erivelton, Natan Masiero, Diego Clemente, John Lessa and Felipe Santana in defense, with Marquinhos and others in attack, under coach Adriano Souza.
In the youth category, Treze secured its first Campeonato Paraibano Sub‑20 title by beating Cruzeiro‑PB 3‑1 on aggregate. The final, played on 8 July at the Amigão, saw goals from Victor Reis, Luan Henrique and a decisive strike that gave the Galo a 3‑1 overall win. The triumph earns Treze a place in the national Copa do Brasil Sub‑20 and a return to the national U‑20 championship (Copinha) after a 21‑year absence. Both Cruzeiro‑PB and Treze also qualified for the Copa do Brasil Sub‑20.
