Târgu Jiu institutions announce new educational programs

Educational and cultural institutions in Târgu Jiu, Romania, have announced new initiatives for the upcoming academic cycle.

The Constantin Brâncuși Popular School of Arts is opening registrations on September 1 for the 2026-2027 school year. Among its offerings is a canto course for light music, designed to help students develop vocal control, breathing techniques, and performance confidence to pursue artistic careers.

Additionally, the Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu (UCB) will host the UCB Summer Camp 2026 from August 28 to 30. The program is designed to reward high-achieving candidates from the 2026 summer admission session. The camp includes workshops on leadership, public speaking, and combating disinformation, alongside recreational activities in the Parâng–Rânca mountain area.
