The fourth annual Transylvanian Crafts Festival is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20 at the Târgu Mureș Castle. Approximately 140 artisans and creators from at least 15 different regions, including Székely Land, Csángó Land, and Partium, will participate in the event.
This year, the festival will place a special focus on clay and ceramics. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe masters at work, engage in discussions, and try various traditional techniques. The event also serves to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Zoltán Kallós.
Participants include delegations from Hungarian and Bulgarian craft associations, as well as vocational schools from Nădudvar and Győr. The festival aims to showcase the diverse and interconnected folk craft culture of Transylvania, featuring nearly 30 different traditional trades.
