Târgu Mureș Zoo celebrates 62nd anniversary with special night program

The Târgu Mureș Zoo is celebrating its 62nd anniversary with a special free night program as part of the Vâltoarea Mureșeană festival. The event, scheduled for Saturday between 18:45 and 23:00, aims to combine ecological education, astronomy, and sustainable art.

Activities include public feedings of fallow deer, tigers, and bats, alongside a night sky observation session organized in partnership with the Astromania and EMCSE associations. A highlight of the evening is the second edition of the Wild Glamour Sustainable Fashion Gala at 21:00, featuring a collection by designer Hajnal Zsuzsa made entirely from recycled materials to promote waste reduction and habitat protection. The program also includes performances by the Transylvanian Contemporary Dance company.
