tri-Ace releases Resonance of Fate Enhanced Remaster for PS5 and PC

Developer tri-Ace has released the Resonance of Fate Enhanced Remaster for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. This digital-only release is an upgrade to the 2018 4K/HD Edition, which was itself a remaster of the original 2010 title known in Japan as End of Eternity.

The Enhanced Remaster introduces several technical improvements, including native 4K resolution, HDR support, and upscaled textures for characters and environments. On PC, the game supports frame rates up to 120 fps. A new 2x Game Speed feature allows players to double the speed of exploration, combat, and events to reduce playtime.

Set in a steampunk-inspired future where Earth is nearly uninhabitable, the JRPG follows three mercenaries navigating a world controlled by a massive machine called Basel. Players utilize the Hero Action combat system, which combines tactical movement with firearm-based attacks.
