Tri-Nations Esports Cup returns in 2026 for UK, Australia, and South Africa

The Tri-Nations Esports Cup in iRacing is scheduled to return in 2026, featuring a competition between national teams from the United Kingdom, Australia, and South Africa. Organized by the respective motorsport governing bodies of each territory, the event focuses on a nation-based format rather than an open championship.

The 2026 competition will consist of a Time Attack pre-qualification phase from August 21 to 23, using the Ford Mustang GT3 with fixed settings at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. This will be followed by a final on September 6, featuring two 30-minute races at Mount Panorama (Bathurst) and Silverstone GP to determine both the individual champion and the winning nation.

South Africa, which joined the competition following the success of the Africa Sim Racing Festival, previously secured third place in its debut. The upcoming tournament follows recent national championships in South Africa aimed at identifying top sim racing talent.
