Tri-State area hosts community events and yard sales

A variety of community events and yard sales are scheduled across the Tri-State area from August 27 to 29. The guide includes activities in Owensboro, Daviess County, Evansville, Henderson, Madisonville, and Newburgh.

In Owensboro, WBKR is hosting a Yard Party on August 28 to benefit the Opportunity Center of Owensboro. The event features a lunch combo, with all proceeds supporting programs and services for adults with disabilities. Other local activities include a car wash hosted by the Owensboro Figure Skating Club on August 29 and ‘The Enchanted Exchange’ hosted by Mystical Moon Market, which will feature handmade vendors, workshops, and live performances.
