Tri-Valley Theatre Company presents SpongeBob Musical at Bankhead Theater in Livermore

Tri‑Valley Theatre Company is staging a family‑friendly production of The SpongeBob Musical at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore. The run includes seven performances through August 16 and features a cast led by Arthur Mautner as SpongeBob, Lucy Moore as Sandy Cheeks, The T as Patrick Star, and other local performers.

Artistic director Brian Olkowski says the show highlights community, resilience and hope, appealing to both children and theatre fans. The musical, based on the animated series created by the late Stephen Hillenburg, adapts the Broadway version that earned multiple Tony nominations and features a score with songs by artists such as David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend and Sara Bareilles.
