Triangle industrial zone near Žatec sees new investment and expansion

The Triangle industrial zone near Žatec is experiencing significant expansion and new investment activity. The Ústecký Regional Council has approved a confidentiality agreement with an undisclosed investor interested in acquiring land within the zone. Regional Governor Richard Brabec noted that the investor is currently evaluating the location.

Additionally, the developer Panattoni is preparing a large-scale logistics and warehouse complex covering over 43 hectares. This project, representing an investment of 9.46 billion CZK, is expected to create 1,355 jobs with three-shift operations. The development is planned in two stages, with the first phase potentially beginning in 2027.

Furthermore, the company Bitumax has commenced construction on a plant for producing asphalt waterproofing membranes. The facility aims for a maximum capacity of 20 million square meters annually and is expected to employ approximately 40 people upon full operation.
