Triathlon competitions held in Montenegro and Serbia

Major triathlon events are taking place in Montenegro and Serbia. In Montenegro, the Blacklake Xtreme Triathlon is being held in Žabljak and Durmitor National Park from September 10 to 12. The event features over 140 athletes from 35 countries. It includes a Solo Point Five half-distance race and a full-distance challenge on September 12, which serves as a qualifying race for the XTRI World Tour and the Norseman extreme triathlon in Norway.

In Serbia, the third edition of the mts IRONMAN 70.3 Belgrade is scheduled for Sunday, September 13. Approximately 1,500 competitors from 76 countries are expected to participate, with over 85 percent of athletes coming from abroad. Organizers note that the event has seen a 120 percent growth compared to the previous edition and is expected to generate significant tourism, including roughly 25,000 overnight stays in Belgrade.
