Triathlon Team Ratingen 08 finishes 13th in Grimma Bundesliga race

The Triathlon Team Ratingen 08 (TTR) women's team finished in 13th place at the recent Bundesliga race in Grimma. The team faced significant challenges during the sprint distance event, which included a 750-meter swim in the Mulde river, a 20-kilometer bike course, and a 5-kilometer run.

Team leader Joana Wolff noted that the team's performance was hampered by the absence of their top athlete, Florentine Exner-Anaç, who had to withdraw from the race before the first transition due to feeling unwell. Despite the setback, athletes Joana Wolff, Annika Fischer, and Seraphine Ragot completed the course.

Following this result, the TTR women remain at the bottom of the standings, trailing the first non-relegation spot by eight points. Wolff expressed concern that the team may not be able to avoid relegation this year.
