Tribe Payments appoints Alex Lim as Head of Sales and Solutions, Asia-Pacific

Tribe Payments, a global fintech specializing in issuer and acquirer processing, has appointed Alex Lim as the Head of Sales and Solutions for the Asia-Pacific region. Lim joins the company from Pure Commerce, a Euronet Worldwide company, where he served as General Manager of Merchant Services for Asia-Pacific.

In his new role, Lim will report to Matt Weir, Tribe’s General Manager for Asia-Pacific. His responsibilities include driving new business development, forging strategic partnerships, and leading regional solution design. This appointment follows Tribe’s decision to open a Singapore office in 2024 to expand its regional presence and support existing clients through its API-first digital payment architecture.
