Tribhuvan University opens applications for 52nd Convocation

Tribhuvan University has opened online applications for its 52nd Convocation Ceremony. Eligible graduates who obtained transcripts for Bachelor’s, Master’s, M. Phil., or Ph.D. levels between June 15, 2025, and May 14, 2026, may apply.

For the first time, the university has decentralized the event by establishing participation centers across all seven provinces of Nepal: Bagmati, Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim. While most students can choose their preferred provincial center, M. Phil. and Ph.D. graduates, as well as gold medalists and top-ranking students, are required to attend the central ceremony in Bagmati Province.

The application period runs from September 17 to October 29. Fees vary by academic level, ranging from NPR 3,000 for Bachelor’s to NPR 4,000 for Ph.D. graduates. A gown and scarf deposit of NPR 2,500 is required for all levels, with NPR 500 deducted for maintenance. All payments must be processed via online banking through Nepal Bank or Global IME Bank.
