Tricentis Acquires Tabnine to Add Enterprise Knowledge Graph for AI Testing

Tricentis announced the acquisition of Tabnine, aiming to embed Tabnine's Enterprise Context Engine—a knowledge graph that extracts entities, relationships and architectural patterns from code, documentation and APIs—into its Agentic Quality Engineering Platform. The integration will give AI testing agents richer contextual information, allowing them to verify outputs, reduce token usage and improve the reliability of autonomous testing actions.

Tricentis officials highlighted the need for independent AI agents to check the work of AI coding agents, noting that a recent survey found 60% of organizations regularly ship untested code and 68% have begun integrating AI into software delivery. Over half of enterprises (55.4%) cite AI‑agent reliability and hallucination management as a key barrier, which the combined platform seeks to address.
