Traffic enforcement scheduled across Germany and Luxembourg

Various regions across Germany and Luxembourg have announced scheduled speed camera enforcement and traffic controls for the period between late August and early September 2026.

In Recklinghausen, mobile radar units are scheduled to operate on multiple streets including Dorstener Straße and Königstraße. Additionally, a specialized 'tanker' speed camera has been relocated to Thorner Straße. In Dorsten, authorities are conducting speed checks on streets such as Freiheitsstraße and Wittenberger Damm, while also monitoring dog owners for compliance with waste disposal regulations.

The Trier region, including parts of Luxembourg and Saarland, is also seeing increased police activity. Scheduled controls include locations such as the B53 in Enkirch and various routes in Luxembourg like Esch-sur-Alzette. In Saarland, mobile units are targeting the B 269 and the A6 motorway. Authorities note that unannounced checks may also occur throughout these regions.
