Trieste announces 10th Corsa dei Castelli running event

Corsa dei Castelli Trieste long-distance running Nadia Battocletti World Athletics Label

The 10th edition of the Corsa dei Castelli has been announced, scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 18, in Trieste. Organized by ASD Promorun in collaboration with the Municipality of Trieste and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the event features a FIDAL-certified 10 km course.

This milestone edition is dedicated to the memory of Giorgio Rossi, the late Sports Councilor for the Municipality of Trieste, who conceived the event and its route. The race is expected to feature high-level competition, including the return of Italian champion Nadia Battocletti, who set a new course record last year.

Additionally, the event includes the 4th International Road Race Running Match U.23, which holds a World Athletics Label.
