Trieste hosts Cirque du Soleil's Echo debut and Scart exhibition at Teatro del Silenzio

The Canadian entertainment group Cirque du Soleil will stage its new show Echo in Trieste on 25 June 2027, following a European premiere in Milan on 6 May 2027. Echo, described as a contemporary fable about connection and youth, will feature a large rotating cube and live music. The event is backed by the regional theatre and local authorities, aiming to boost tourism in Friuli‑Venezia Giulia.

The art exhibition Scart – the “beautiful and useful side of waste” – which ran in Trieste’s Salone degli Incanti from 13 March to 3 May 2026, is moving to the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico for Andrea Bocelli’s summer concert. Built from recycled Lamborghini and Hera materials, the exhibition promotes circular‑economy ideas and was highlighted by regional environmental minister Fabio Scoccimarro.
