Multiple fire incidents have been reported across various Italian regions, involving residential, commercial, and educational structures.
In Gela, the Luigi Capuana school was targeted by an arson attack and vandalism, causing significant damage to the electrical system and forcing a delay in the start of the school year. Similarly, a nursery and kindergarten in Ganaceto managed by Fism suffered a fire; while no injuries were reported, authorities are working to relocate the affected students.
In the Milanese area, a large fire destroyed a warehouse in Pero, resulting in the total loss of the structure and several high-value vehicles. In Trieste, a residential building fire trapped a man in his apartment, though he was successfully rescued by firefighters and treated for smoke inhalation.
Other notable incidents include a fatal fire in Alcamo, where a 70-year-old man died while reportedly attempting to extinguish flames near his property, and a large-scale fire in Ribera that threatened homes and businesses. Additionally, smaller incidents were reported in Bagnaturo involving an electrical short circuit, in Bisceglie involving brushwood, and in Melito involving a local bar.
