Trieste's Magazzino 26 Opens Edoardo Di Muro Africa Retrospective

The Sala Nathan of Magazzino 26 in Trieste opened the exhibition “Africa 1970‑2005. Disegni di Edoardo Di Muro. Trieste‑Dakar” on 2 August 2026. Curated by Professor Paola Bristot and anthropologist Mimina Di Muro, the show presents about one hundred original drawings, lithographs and notebooks created over thirty‑five years, complemented by the Moroso M’Afrique collection and exotic plants to create an immersive African atmosphere. The exhibition runs until 27 September 2026 and is free to the public, with opening hours from 11:00 to 20:00 on weekends and holidays and 16:00 to 20:00 on Thursdays.

The inauguration was attended by Trieste Mayor Roberto Dipiazza and featured live musical performances by Adriano Viterbini, Paolo Baldini and Davide Toffolo. The project was organized by the association Viva Comix in co‑operation with the Municipality of Trieste’s Department of Culture and Tourism and supported by the Autonomous Region of Friuli‑Venezia Giulia.
