Triggiano to host digital art exhibition in historic church hypogeum

The Al Nour cultural association is organizing a dual event focused on digital art and the reflection of time at the Chiesa Matrice Santa Maria Veterana in Triggiano on September 26.

The initiative, supported by the Municipality of Triggiano and the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari, features a site-specific digital art path titled ‘Matrice Digitale’ within the church's hypogeum. Curated by the LIMPA artistic production center, the project uses installations, light, sound, and video projections to create a dialogue between the ancient medieval archaeological remains and contemporary technology.

The program includes three artistic interventions: ‘Becoming’, featuring works by students from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari; ‘1959’, a video installation by Veronica Liuzzi and Francesco Paolo Cosola exploring memory; and ‘Corpo Comune’.
