Trikala announces Wizard of Oz theme for 15th Elf Mill festival

The city of Trikala, Greece, has announced the theme for its 15th annual Elf Mill (Mylos ton Xotikon) holiday festival. For the 2026-27 season, the event will be inspired by the magical world of the Wizard of Oz.

The festivities are scheduled to run for 48 days, from November 20, 2026, to January 6, 2027. The celebration aims to transform the city into a festive landscape featuring music, lights, and interactive events. Visitors will be able to explore themes such as the Emerald City and the Yellow Brick Road.

Organized by e-Trikala and the Municipality of Trikala in collaboration with local businesses and associations, the event offers free admission. The festival is intended to boost the local economy and promote the city as a Christmas capital for both domestic and international tourists.
