Trikala prepares for school reopening and new student arrivals

The city of Trikala is preparing for a return to regular routines during the week of September 7 to 13, 2026.

A major event occurs on Tuesday, September 8, as the School of Non-Commissioned Officers (SMY) welcomes new students, bringing families to the city for the official ranking process.

Additionally, the new school year for 2026-2027 officially begins on Friday, September 11. This day will be marked by traditional blessings for kindergartens, primary, middle, and high schools, alongside the distribution of books. The full academic schedule is expected to commence on Monday, September 14.
