Trinidad & Tobago Planning Minister Kennedy Swaratsingh meets Israeli delegation to boost bilateral cooperation

Planning Minister Dr Kennedy Swaratsingh met Israeli Ambassador Mattanya Cohen and MASHAV Director General Eynat Shlein at the Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development in Trinidad and Tobago. The officials discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in modern agriculture, education, cybersecurity, smart cities, climate resilience and institutional capacity building, and explored public‑private partnership models to support small and medium‑sized enterprises.

Both sides said they would identify priority projects and technical initiatives to strengthen the partnership, with Israel pledging knowledge‑sharing and technology transfer to aid Trinidad and Tobago’s economic diversification, food security and digital transformation.
