Triple-A stablecoin firm reports $11.8 million treasury wallet breach

Stablecoin payments company Triple‑A confirmed that unauthorized access to its treasury wallets on Saturday resulted in an estimated loss of about $11.8 million, according to on‑chain investigator Specter. The Singapore‑based firm said client funds were not affected because they are held separately in trust accounts with safeguarding institutions.

Triple‑A temporarily placed certain services into maintenance mode for roughly three hours while securing the infrastructure. All services have since been restored and transactions are processing normally. The company is working with cybersecurity specialists, blockchain‑forensics firms and the Singapore Police Force to investigate the breach, trace the assets and recover losses. The financial impact is being covered from its treasury reserves.
