Triple-i Initiative showcases new indie game reveals

The Triple-i Initiative held its October showcase, a 45-minute presentation dedicated to independent video game announcements, gameplay trailers, and release dates. The event featured eight world premiere reveals and updates on over 30 previously confirmed titles.

Key announcements included the sequel to the adventure classic Machinarium, titled ‘Machinarium 2’, developed by Amanita Design. Other major reveals included ‘Among Us Story: On Guard’, a standalone detective narrative set for release in February 2027, and ‘Outward 2’, which is scheduled to enter Early Access on PC on February 8, 2027.

Additional titles highlighted during the showcase included the psychological horror game ‘JIAOHUN’, the co-op shooter ‘Canyons’, and updates for established titles such as ‘Dave the Diver’ and ‘Risk of Rain 2’.
