TRIPLE2 announces liquidation and exit from market
German sustainable sportswear manufacturer TRIPLE2 has announced it is ceasing operations and entering liquidation. Founded in 2010 by Matthias Dreuw, the company specialized in premium, eco-friendly cycling apparel using materials such as merino wool and recycled ocean plastics.
The company faced severe financial difficulties following supply chain disruptions, production delays, and a significant drop in revenue, which fell by approximately 30 percent this season. Efforts to secure new investment failed, leaving the company unable to overcome its economic crisis.
TRIPLE2 is currently conducting a massive clearance sale of its remaining stock, with discounts of up to 50 percent. The official online shop is scheduled to close on September 16, though some reports indicate operations may conclude by September 30. The company's lifetime repair service for damaged clothing has been discontinued effective immediately.
