Tripledot Studios acquires Supersonic mobile game publisher for $40 million
Tripledot Studios, an Israeli mobile gaming company founded by Lior Shiff and Eyal Chameides, announced it has acquired Supersonic, a game publishing and ad‑network business previously owned by Unity Technologies, for approximately $40 million.
The deal brings Supersonic’s portfolio of casual titles—including Going Balls, Bridge Race, Hole It, Hide ’N Seek and Build A Queen—and its network of developer partners into Tripledot’s platform, giving them access to larger product, design and growth resources. Supersonic’s CEO Igor Bereslavski said the integration will keep existing support while adding Tripledot’s scale.
Unity disclosed Supersonic’s quarterly revenue at about $50 million and total lifetime downloads exceeding 6.2 billion. Supersonic employs roughly 125 staff, 95 in Israel, and Tripledot plans to reduce the workforce by about a third, cutting around 40 jobs. Tripledot expects its combined revenues to reach roughly $2 billion annually. The acquisition follows Tripledot’s earlier $800 million purchase of AppLovin’s games business.
